Thanks for Stopping By!
We are very excited to debut this new website.  I say, we, because
the work you see here is not just my own.  My wife, Angie, and my
buddy, Duke (from 51 Sports), were instrumental in making this
website come to life and I thank them for that greatly.

Our purpose for this site is to let sports fans know what events our
team at SPEED & FOX will be doing, the great charity events I will
be working with to raise money and to interact with fans of all
sports, including the one I am currently involved with, NASCAR.
We want to give people a behind-the-scenes look at how our lives
on the road evolve and how important family and faith are to me.

I feel blessed to have to opportunity to work in the industry I do.
As a kid I loved all sports and played many, from baseball and
football to golf and tennis.  Heck, I was even on the swim team in
high school.

My dad was a racer while I was young and so many years later it
is unbelievable to think I have covered the Daytona 500 (NASCAR),
the Indianapolis 500 (Indy Car) and the US Nationals in drag racing (NHRA).  The racing fans I have met since working the national scene since 1997 have been amazing.  The highlight of my broadcasting career, so far, was interviewing Dale Earnhardt in victory lane at the Daytona 500 in 1998.

I have a passion for short track racing and that’s why I started Speed51.com.  It began as a hobby and has turned into the largest pavement short track site in America.  It’s something Angie, the entire team at Speed51.com and I am proud of.

I’ve covered all kinds of sports in my career, from World Series in the ‘90’s to the entire New York sports scene.  As a Red Sox and Patriots fan, it’s always hard to cover a team like the Yankees or Jets, but that’s part of my job and I’ve always tried to do it with an unbiased professionalism.

What really makes my heart beat is my faith and family.  My relationship with God is very important to me, as is my wonderful wife and four beautiful children.  Many times, we’ll be driving down the road in our motorhome together to the next destination on the schedule and building memories as we do.

We hope you enjoy the site and we all appreciate every one of you fans for what you do for the sports we all enjoy!
